Consulting deliverables, accelerated

Upload a target company.
Walk out with the deal package.

DealDesk turns raw company financials and diligence documents into four deliverables: a business summary, a management interview guide, an opportunity presentation, and a working Excel model with an executive email summary. Every output is tailored to your practice: strategy, operations, or M&A.

Free, instant, and private: the numbers come from public filings data and the documents are written in your browser.

How it works

Three steps from data room to deliverables

01

Describe the engagement

Choose your consulting practice, then enter the target company and strategic context. This frames every deliverable that follows.

02

Upload the inputs

Look up a public company by name, upload a financial statement, or type the numbers in. Anything else the documents need, you can add in a sentence.

03

Generate the package

DealDesk drafts all four deliverables at once. Review each one, then download the full package.

The deliverable package

Four deliverables, tailored to your practice

Choose your consulting practice, whether strategy, operations, or M&A, and every document adapts: the analytical lens, the interview questions, the opportunity hypotheses, and the recommendation. Formats follow professional management consulting deliverable standards.

Business Summary

Company overview, a financial summary table built from the company's own filings, recent news, key people, and key products. Short enough that a partner can read it before the kickoff call.

Management Interview Guide

15 to 20 numbered questions grouped into lettered topics with space for answers: motivation and entanglement for M&A, market and growth options for strategy, process and supply chain for operations.

Opportunity Presentation

A three slide loop with action titles: slide one summarizes and signposts, slides two and three expand each point in the same order, charted from the company's own revenue and margin. Synergies for M&A, options for strategy, levers for operations.

About this project

Why DealDesk exists

Management consulting deliverables follow patterns: the same document types, the same analytical structure, the same executive audience. DealDesk explores how much of that structure can be systematized so consultants spend their time on judgment, not formatting. It is a portfolio project built around the core deliverables of strategy, operations, and M&A consulting.

Set up the deal

This context frames all four deliverables, so be as specific as you can.

Every deliverable is tailored to your practice: the summary lens, the interview questions, the opportunity presentation, and the executive email.

For public companies, this pulls the description, leadership, and reported revenue from public data. Free, and no account needed.
Add detail to sharpen the outputOptional. Answer what you know; each answer changes which findings, questions, and recommendations appear.
Profit as a share of sales, over the last few years.
Factories, fleets, offices, or staff sitting idle.

Upload the inputs

Add whatever you have. More context produces sharper deliverables, but only the financials are required.

Company profile (optional)

For private companies, add what the documents cannot look up online. One item per line; these fill the Key people, Key products, and Recent news sections.

Financial statements

Revenue, and if you have them, COGS and operating expenses, by year

.xlsx, .csv

This is the only file the site reads. Everything else about the company is typed or looked up below, so nothing you upload sits unused.

Review and generate

Confirm the deal setup and choose which deliverables to produce.

Output branding

Client branding (optional)

Deliverables default to a neutral "ghost draft" style. Set the client's identity here to enable client branded finals; the structure and logic never change.

Generating your deal package

Each deliverable is drafted from your inputs. This usually takes under a minute.
